Idaho code 33-1003(a) defines a homebound student as any student who would normally and regularly attend school but, due to illness or accident, necessarily must be absent from school for more than ten (10) consecutive school days. In these cases a certified teacher makes arrangements with the family to continue to provide academic services at home. Note that students are not eligible for homebound services until the eleventh (11) homebound day and thereafter.
