Hello! Does your child enjoy reading or listening to audiobooks? Sora is a free app and resource for audiobooks, ebooks, and read-along books for all students and employees in the district. Sora is a digital library, so you "check out" books for two weeks at a time with an option to renew, or you can put a book on hold if it is "checked out" to someone else. A book with simultaneous checkouts means that an unlimited number of people can check it out at the same time. Artie and the Wolf Moon will be available on Sora for simultaneous use in ebook and audiobook formats between November 2-16th. Checkouts will be simultaneous, which means no holds!

Dear families, The Foreign Language Department of Madison School District is going to France and Spain in the Summer of 2025, and you’re invited! We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for this opportunity: https://bit.ly/3EPC0tp When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure. In this info session, we’ll talk about: · How this opportunity will benefit your student · What we’ll see and do on our trip · Everything that’s included in this experience · How your child can earn academic credit · How we’re keeping this safe and affordable · How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity! Gracias, Nicole Grafel Spanish/Psychology Teacher Madison High School

Madison Cares is excited to announce that the fall session of Stay 2 Play will start on Tuesday, September 19. It will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 am until 12 noon at the Madison Education Center's Gym, 60 West Main Street. Stay 2 Play is an open play opportunity for families with children 6 months to 6 years old where we introduce a skill and teach parents how to use this skill at home. To practice the introduced skill we will provide open-ended activities with fun items to support large motor-free play. A playgroup is a time for parents to network and socialize with other parents in the community. Our playgroups are co-facilitated by Madison Cares Home and Family interns from BYU-Idaho. Our student interns are supervised by our Early Childhood staff. Contact the Early Childhood department at Madison Cares at (208) 359-1256 for more information.
