Kindergarten Screening – Monday, April 6
Did you know in 1983, April was designated by President Ronald Reagan as National Child Abuse Prevention Month? Today, it’s known as STRENGTHENING FAMILIES MONTH, shifting the focus to prevention, connection, & supporting families before a crisis occurs.

The theme, “Pinwheels for Prevention,” represents what we want for every child: a happy, healthy, & carefree childhood.

Everyone in the community is invited to join Madison Cares TOMORROW for our final Stay 2 Play as we help raise awareness & celebrate families! Enjoy an outdoor party with pinwheel planting, “hand flower” painting, cookies, & fun activities for kids.

Thursday, Apr 2, 2026 | 10 - 11 am | @ the field by the Library & behind the MSD Building (60 W. Main, in Rexburg)

Hello District families and community members,
Madison School District’s Supplemental Levy will be on the May 19th ballot.
If approved, the levy would support current programs and services, including staffing, safety, technology, curriculum, and transportation.
🗳 When: May 19th election
📍 Where: Your local polling location — found on voteidaho.gov
Learn more:
Stay informed, ask questions, and participate in the election.
👉 Visit our Levy Page to learn more and use our estimated property tax calculator to explore what this looks like for you. https://www.msd321.com/page/madison-levy-renewal-2026
“The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $52.97 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions. The proposed levy replaces an existing levy that expires on June 30, 2026, that currently costs $52.97 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value. Therefore, if the proposed levy is approved, the tax per $100,000 of taxable assessed value is not expected to change. The levy will be assessed for two years.”

Dear Madison School District Parents and Guardians,
In accordance with Idaho law, all schools are required to provide parents and guardians the
opportunity to complete a parent engagement and satisfaction survey. This survey invites your
feedback on several topics and helps us assess how well our schools are meeting the needs of
students and families.
To access the survey, please visit https://form.jotform.com/260156057717155 and select all
schools your student(s) attend within the Madison School District.
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous.
Surveys may be submitted through March 13, 2026.
Survey results will be used to identify opportunities to improve satisfaction, engagement, and
communication across the district.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. If you have any questions, please contact
your school’s principal.
Sincerely,
Darnea Lamb

Hi Everyone!
I've got some bad news. It will take longer than expected to finish the track in the fieldhouse. The crew will need a couple more days to finish the project. The fieldhouse will need to be closed through February 27th, so Friday of this week. We plan to have it re-opened Saturday morning, the 28th. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

City and county crews have been out working hard to clear the roads. There are still a few subdivisions they have not been able to reach yet. As this is our first significant snowfall of the year, we want to remind everyone to use extra caution and stay safe. All schools are running as scheduled today. However, student safety is our top priority. Tardiness for first and second hour will be excused to allow families additional time to travel safely. Please plan accordingly and take your time on the roads this morning. Stay safe!
