The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) local chapter has been a generous supporter of the robotics team for the past few years, and their contributions have made a real difference in helping these students innovate, compete, and grow as future engineers.
Each spring, the team is invited to present at the ASME banquet to share how the grant funding was used and how the season went. This year was well represented by Bryan Roberts (last year’s captain) and Sydney Leadholm (a strong candidate for next year’s captain), who gave an excellent presentation on the team’s progress and achievements.
A special thank you to Bryan Lewis, engineering professor at BYU–Idaho and ASME chair, for being such a great partner and advocate for the team.
Here’s to another exciting season ahead for the robotics team! 💡⚙️#wearemadison
