Want to get certified in Mental Health First Aid for Adults?
This FREE course teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use challenges in adults. This training gives participants the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to those who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a mental health crisis (e.g. suicidal ideation).
This course provides participants with a certificate upon completion and participants are certified as MHFA first responders for three years.
The next course will be held JULY 16, 2024 from 3:30pm - 7:30pm & JULY 17, 2024 from 3:30pm - 7:30pm. This is a two-day course, and attendance is required all 8 hours to receive certification. Registration is required. Please register at https://www.msd321.com/o/msd321/page/mental-health-first-aid

Just a reminder that the Bobcat Fieldhouse will be closed to the public the following dates:
May 21 (Election)
May 23 (MHS Graduation)
May 24-27 (Memorial Day Weekend)
Summer hours will be during the month of June. Weekdays, Monday thru Thursday, 6-9 am. Closed nights, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Bobcat Fieldhouse will open back up regular hours after Labor Day on September 3rd.

Dave Reeser took his Advanced Holocaust and Genocide Studies class on a field trip to Boise to learn from volunteers from the Wassmuth Center at the Anne Frank Memorial. They also went to the Minidoka Japanese-American Internment Camp near Burley to see where Americans were deprived of their Civil Rights at the same time the Holocaust was happening. What an experience to have! It is wonderful that our students in the District have opportunities like this. Thank you for sharing this Mr. Reeser! #weareadison

Madison Jr. High Track and Cross Country Boot Camp scheduled at the Junior High track July 22-August 2nd. 8:30-12 pm Monday thru Friday.
We want to give a huge Thank You to Diane White (Administrative Assistant of Food Service) for her many years of service and dedication to our School District!! She has worked for the district for 19 years. Along with being in the food service department, she has also worked as a Librarian at Burton Elementary.
Diane has streamlined the Kitchen Fair into such an amazing fundraiser, supported staff in their required training, and helped with local charity events like Secret Santa.
