We are excited to announce that MMS has received a Blue Cross Grant! Our incredible Mayor Jerry Merril took on the challenge of walking 10,000 steps a day throughout October, as part of Blue Cross's initiative to promote physical fitness and health awareness in our community. Mayor Merril didn't just walk; he joined our Zombie Walking/Running Pacer Run, engaging with our students and setting a fantastic example of staying active. The MMSD PE Specialist, Debbie Miles, reached out to the Mayor and is proud to say they made this happen together! The grant funds will be used to purchase scooters for our special needs students and others, ensuring everyone can join in the fun. Additionally, we will introduce some of our students to the joys of cross-country skiing at Teton Lakes Golf Course/Winter Park. This will not only help them enjoy the outdoors and stay fit but also support their mental health and expose them to a lifelong sport! #wearemadison

Happy New Year! We're excited to announce that the Madison Cares Education Series is back in action. To start us off, Lieutenant Hirschi, along with the Rexburg Police department, will be presenting about SOCIAL MEDIA SAFETY. This powerful presentation raises awareness about the risks & impacts of social media on children & youth, especially in our area. This is great information for all adults, college students, parents, & concerned citizens. Invite your friends & family members to attend!
