Calling all incoming 7th graders and new students to Madison Jr. High. Our orientation meeting will be Monday, August 22nd from 2p - 4p. Come hear a brief welcome and introduction from Mr. Carlson, then you are welcome to find your classes and meet your teachers. Also, we will assign lockers at this time if you would like one for the school year.
The MJH office will be closed on Wednesday, August 17th from 9am until Noon for District In-Service and Faculty Meetings. Thank you for your understanding as we prepare to make it an EPIC year at MJH!

Tryouts for the Madison Junior High 7th & 8th grade cross-country team are Monday, August 15, 6:30-7:45AM at the junior high. Students should come dressed ready to run. In a regularly scheduled June 16th board meeting, the Madison 321 Board of Trustees unanimously voted to seek renewal of the two-year, $ 1.995 million dollar a year operational levy. The election to renew this levy will be facilitated by Madison County and is set for Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
The levy will focus monies on certain, specific areas that reflect continuous district needs:
- Restoring Two (2) Paid Teaching / Contact days, salaries, and benefits: $250,000
- Security, Technology, Renovations & Maintenance: $1.295
- Madison Cares Mental Health Programs: $450,000
*TOTAL- $1,995,000 (each year) *Same amount since 2012

Our FREE SUMMER FEEDING & LITERACY programs have started and are ready for YOU! This year, it will be located at Madison Middle School each weekday in June from 11:30-1:00pm. Any child/youth between the ages of 1 and 18 can take part in these FREE programs. If parents would like to join their children for a meal, it is the normal adult lunch price of $4.25.
