Tomorrow, Friday, May 10, is Field Day at Hibbard! See picture with times and events.
We have a hand full of raffle tickets still that we would like to get sold instead of giving the tickets back to the district. PTO said that people can use the PTO Venmo There have been questions raised about previous money earned and people wanting to know why we don't already have new playground equipment. I have attached a printout that was done last year that shows what PTO funds are used for. The past fund raiser profits combined with the district car raffle tickets are being saved in preparation to purchase some new playground equipment to add to what was moved over from the old school. The estimated cost could easily be up to be around $75,000 to purchase and to install, depending on what structure(s) the PTO committee decide on. We have earned about $24,000 so far that is being stored safely to use towards new playground equipment. The committee is coming up with a plan and then reaching out to get additional help through grants and donations as well. The goal is to have it installed summer of 2025. It is not an easy process and it is not an inexpensive process. THANK YOU to everyone who has helped so far!!!!! Buy some tickets when you are in the office for field day tomorrow.

Our Hibbard classes each chose a character trait and then came up with their own definition for that trait. Mrs. Iver's class chose Empathy! This is how her class defines Empathy.
