Madison Vocational Program

The Madison Vocational Program serves students ages 18–21 who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and are preparing for life beyond high school. This comprehensive program focuses on developing vocational, academic, and independent living skills to support successful transitions into adulthood.

Students gain hands-on work experience through community-based job placements and on-campus employment opportunities that promote responsibility, confidence, and career readiness. In addition, students have the option to participate in college concurrent enrollment courses through BYU–Idaho, where they can explore personal interests, build self-advocacy, and strengthen postsecondary skills in a supportive environment.

The Madison Vocational Program also emphasizes functional life skills, including budgeting, meal preparation, time management, and transportation training—all designed to help students achieve greater independence and success in their communities.

Through individualized instruction, real-world experiences, and collaboration with families and community partners, the Madison Vocational Program empowers students to reach their full potential as capable, contributing members of the community.
