Madison Cares Education Series

Madison Cares provides free educational classes to members of the community focusing on at least one of the eight dimensions of wellness that keeps a person mentally and physically well.

Eight Dimensions of Wellness
Physical - Recognizing the need to engage in physical activity, rest and proper nutrition
Intellectual - Valuing life: long learning and finding ways to expand one’s knowledge and skills
Emotional - Managing emotions in a constructive and healthy manner
Social - The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with others
Spiritual - Finding purpose and meaning in life
Occupational - Personal satisfaction and enjoyment from one’s work
Financial - Satisfaction with current and future financial situations
Environmental - Occupying pleasant, healthy and stimulating environments that support optimal well being

Classes are held during the school year on Wednesdays from 9:45 am until noon.

Once a month, a class will be offered on Wednesday evening from 6:15 pm until 8:00 pm.
