🚌 IMPORTANT BUS ROUTE REMINDERS
As we get ready for the new school year, we want to share a few important transportation reminders with our families:
Please check BusRight for your student’s bus stop location and pickup time. Bus routes have changed this year, so please double-check your student’s information before the first day of school.
BusRight Information:
Parents of students using bus transportation should have received an email from the Transportation Department through BusRight, our bus transportation app. This email includes information to help you access your student’s transportation details.
If your child uses bus transportation and you have not received an email from BusRight, please contact the Transportation Department at caldwellb@msd321.com for assistance.
Be at the Stop 5 Minutes Early:
Students should be at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before their scheduled pickup time. This helps our buses stay on schedule and ensures students are ready when the bus arrives.
Riding a Different Bus or Using a Different Stop:
If your student will be riding a different bus home with a friend or getting off at a stop other than their assigned bus stop, they will need a signed permission note from a parent or guardian.

As we get ready for the new school year, we want to remind all new and returning families to download the MSD321 app and sign in to your Rooms account.
Rooms is our communication platform that teachers will use to stay connected with you and your student throughout the school year.
Rooms invitations have been sent out. To log in, use the phone number associated with your PowerSchool account. A confirmation code will be sent to that number for you to enter and complete the sign-in process.
If you choose to log in using the email address associated with your PowerSchool account, you will be prompted to create a password. If you did not receive a Rooms invitation or are having trouble signing in, please email chavezm@msd321.com for assistance.
Please also take a moment to make sure the email address and phone number associated with your PowerSchool account are current and correct. If you have a new email address or phone number, please update your information as soon as possible.
Important: Please do not list a work phone number as your day or primary contact number. Rooms may not be able to send messages and notifications to work phone numbers. Please use a personal mobile number whenever possible.

Parking is available near Porter Park, or park at MJH or MMS and ride the FREE shuttle! Shuttles begin at 1:30 PM, with the last bus leaving the park at 7:30 PM.

Welcome to the new school year at Lincoln Elementary!
Online Registration for the 2026/2027 school year is now open via the Madison School District Website. All parents MUST register/update their student(s) information online. Please come to the school after August 17, during school hours, for additional assistance if needed.
A big thank you to those who have already used snapcodes sent out last week to Register!
*Remember, Kindergartners have already registered for the upcoming year, as well as some of our new Students.
To access the online registration forms, please use the following steps:
Go to the Madison School District homepage: www.MSD321.com
Click “Registration/Enrollment”.
Select “Registration for Returning Students” to register using a Snapcode”. (If registering a new student, under “Enrollment for New Students”, no snapcode is required.)
Enter the snap code that was emailed to you from the district, on July 27.
* If you did not receive a snap code, please email registration@msd321.com for help.
Follow the online instructions and fill out all pages. Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. When you are finished with the Registration Forms, remember to click submit. If you do not click submit, your student will not officially be registered. Your student(s) need to be registered to be placed into classes. Once your Registration is complete, follow the instructions to apply for free and reduced lunch - a new application must be completed for EACH school year.
If you have already OR are/were able to complete ALL of the following items online, then you ARE NOT REQUIRED to come to the school, unless additional help is needed.
*Please Update ALL Demographic Information (address, phone numbers, email, emergency contacts, etc.) This is the information the school will use to communicate with you throughout the upcoming school year. Please make sure you update/enter your most current information!
*Sign permission forms (for field trips, permission to use computer/Internet, permission to use your child’s photo in yearbooks or other social media, etc.)
*Upload Immunization Records and Birth Certificates. If you are unable to upload these records and if we do not already have them on file, please bring them to the school to be photocopied. These are required by the state for your child to attend school.
The Madison School Board has again approved a budget that eliminates registration fees for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. This means those fees will no longer be collected. Please note that registration fees for all other grades will remain in place. All necessary teaching supplies will be covered by District funds, ensuring our students still have everything they need for a successful year. Please express your appreciation to our amazing School Board!
Beginning Aug 17, office staff will be available weekdays 8:00am-3:00 pm for those with questions or needing help with registration.
Lincoln Elementary’s Back To School Open House will be held at the school, on August 28, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Please come meet teachers, find classrooms during this time, and sign up to volunteer with our PTO.
The first day of school will be MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026. School begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 2:25 PM. Please make sure your student(s) has a regular sized backpack to carry things back-and-forth.

We have made changes this year to the SUMMER SCHOOL bus routes for several reasons. Students will need to go to the elementary school nearest their home, and a shuttle bus will pick them up from the elementary school and transport them to the middle school.
When school dismisses, buses will pick up students at the middle school and transport them back to the elementary school. Parents will be responsible for getting their students to and from the elementary school, as there will not be any neighborhood bus stops this year.
Bus schedules are as follows:
Students will load at their elementary school at 7:50 a.m., and buses will depart all elementary schools by 8:05 a.m. to arrive at the middle school by 8:20 a.m. Buses will depart the middle school at 12:07p.m. to transport students back to the elementary schools for the afternoon ride home.
This schedule does not apply to students with special needs who require specialized transportation and a bus aide.

Hello Rexburg Community! Voting is next week, and we want to remind our community what the levy on the ballot is for.
The levy would be used to bridge the gap between what state funding provides and the realities of today’s costs of operating and maintaining our schools. From transportation and safety to curriculum, technology, and staffing, these are the day-to-day expenses that keep our schools running.
All district finances are transparent and publicly available. We understand school funding can often be generalized or misunderstood, which is why we encourage our community to stay informed, ask questions, and have conversations with local district leadership about how funding impacts our schools each day.
If you would like to talk through district finances or ask questions directly, our Finance Manager, Blake Snedaker, is available at our temporary district office trailers located on the west side of the Bobcat Fieldhouse. We would be happy to help answer questions and provide information so our community can make informed decisions. #wearemadison
“The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $52.97 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions. The proposed levy replaces an existing levy that expires on June 30, 2026, that currently costs $52.97 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value. Therefore, if the proposed levy is approved, the tax per $100,000 of taxable assessed value is not expected to change. The levy will be assessed for two years.”
