Hello! Every M-F in June from 11:30 AM to 1 PM the district has a school bus loaded with free books for elementary students (Literacy Bus). It is parked in the back parking lot at the Middle School where students coming for free lunch can access it. The books are for students PreK to 4th grade. They will also have some books in Spanish as well. Each student can choose a new book and a gently used book to keep. They can get a new book each day they return. Our wonderful elementary teachers will rotate in staffing the bus and are excited to see you all! Have a great Summer!

Tomorrow (Thursday the 18th) is our Madison Cares Event "Rise Above". Come on out to the MHS football stadium to enjoy dinner, games, and family time. Dinner will be served until 6:30pm. We are excited to see you all there!

Yesterday 2nd graders at Burton Elementary celebrated Earth Day by planting seeds and picking up litter around the school property. These kids loved getting their hands dirty and serving their school community. Thank you teachers for inspiring our students to help keep our earth clean! Last week Brianna Murray's class from Central High School went to Burton Elementary to drop off some adorable handmade stuffies! Our HS students received pictures from Mrs. Baird's class and brought them to life by creating stuffed replicas! The kids were so excited and LOVED them! This is one of the cutest projects ❤️😄 #wearemadison

This survey asks for your input on several topics to help measure how our schools are doing in meeting your needs.
