She also works in Epidemiology, and is a liaison for the Region 7 Behavioral Health Board.
Holly is very passionate about education and believes all children have the right to learn in a safe and healthy environment, and feels that "Going On" to higher education after graduating high school is one of the most important decisions a student will make. She would like to make sure all students at Madison have as many opportunities as possible to help them prepare for college. Holly earned her Associates Degree from Ricks College, her Bachelors Degree from BYU-Idaho, and her Masters Degree in Health Education from Idaho State University.
Holly loves working hard, volunteering, and most of all spending time with her family. She loves skiing, running, biking, swimming, boating, traveling, wake surfing, shopping, and watching her daughters play soccer and her husband coach. Her passion is volunteering in programs that involve her children and youth in the community. She has served for over 15 years on the Board of Directors for the Idaho International Summerfest, an annual event sponsored by the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce, and served as the Chairperson twice. For three years she has been the Director of Idaho's first and only No-Sunday-Play soccer tournament, the Yellowstone Cup. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Upper Valley Soccer Foundation. She is passionate about health and fitness and loves to teach and encourage her children and her students to make the time to be active and find their passion in life.
Holly would like to be an advocate for students and teachers while she serves on the Board. She wants to represent the voice of the patrons from her zone and have a positive impact on the Madison School Board while she is in office. Please feel free to reach her by email at email@example.com.
