Before coming to Hibbard Elementary School, I worked as a kindergarten paraprofessional for 16 years at Lincoln Elementary School. I enjoyed what I did so much that I took classes at BYU-Idaho to earn a bachelor's degree in elementary education. After completing my degree, I was offered a teaching position here at Hibbard Elementary School. I have been teaching kindergarten for 6 years now. Being a kindergarten teacher has brought me so much joy. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my 3 children and 10 grandchildren. My hobbies include sewing, embroidering, painting, reading, and traveling with my husband, John Ivers.
I grew up in Hibbard, so I might be a little biased that I think Hibbard is the best! I graduated from BYU-Idaho in child development. I have worked in kindergarten at Hibbard for 8 years. I love their excitement and seeing their progress. My hobbies include reading, playing piano, baking, hiking, traveling, camping, playing games, being outside, and spending time with family.
