Hi, I am Emma Anderson your Speech-Language Pathologist. I was born and raised in the Plano area and currently live in Rexburg. I have my early childhood Montessori education certification from Lighthouse Montessori School, B.S. in Child Development from BYU-I, B.S. in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from USU, and my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from USU where I also completed a research project and thesis on the effects of oncological aphasia. I have a wide variety of experience in speech therapy. I have worked in schools, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and in hospitals working with acute and rehabilitation patients. I enjoy working with a variety of ages, my youngest clients have been 2 and my oldest in their 90s and everything in between. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, being in the mountains and forest, playing piano, card and board games, reading murder mysteries and suspense novels, working in my yard, anything true crime, and recently I have started cycling.
