I grew up on 190 acres on the edge of small town Wendell, Idaho where we rode horses, raised beef cattle, and farmed 30 acres. I loved exploring our desert, fishing, and camping in the mountains.
I moved to east Idaho to attend BYU-I where I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Upon completing my student teaching here, at South Fork Elementary, I was hired for the following school year of ’11-’12 in first grade! I have been here ever since, and have loved every day!
My husband and I have two beautiful girls! In the year of 2016, we purchased our forever home in Menan! Behind our house, we also purchased a small 16 acre farm of alfalfa! We are loving building our family here in the country side of good ole Idaho and bringing our children to South Fork Elementary where the teachers, parents, and students work together to help and better all students!
My favorite part of teaching is helping the children to learn beyond the curriculum. I love to help them learn the life skills of friendships, hard work, good choices, and a self-desire to learn and grow!
